La Feria Internacional de Turismo del Ecuador se realizará del 25 al 28 de septiembre de este año en el Centro de Convenciones de Guayaquil, Simón Bolívar. Esta feria reúne a la industria turística del Ecuador y diversos países para hacer negocios y motivar el turismo en el país.
Durante la 12ª. edición se designó a Perú como país invitado. La FITE 2014 permitirá multiplicar los resultados y contactos comerciales en el ámbito turístico. Durante los días de feria se realizarán diferentes actividades:
- Exposición con stands de los destinos turísticos.
- Rueda de negocios entre la oferta del Ecuador y los compradores internacionales.
- IV Congreso Latinoamericano de Ciudades Turísticas.
- Plaza de las Naciones, muestra de diversos países.
- Conferencias y seminarios.
- Visitas de familiarización por el país con operadores y prensa internacional.
- 10° Festival Folclórico Internacional.
- 8° Concurso Internacional de periodismo turístico “Perla del Pacífico”.
- 8° Concurso Audiovisual “Ecuador – Cuatro Mundos”, entre otros.
300 expositores de 30 países formarán parte de esta feria en la que se podrá conocer la oferta turística y gastronómica de cada uno de los destinos promocionados. Es importante destacar que la FITE se ha convertido en el evento de turismo más importante del Ecuador y la Costa del Pacífico Sur.
