Almap BBDO de Brasil es la agencia del año nuevamente. Lo fue en el 2010 y este 2011, lo repite. Ganarse este galardón en Cannes Lions no es fácil, peor aún hacerlo por dos años seguidos, pero Brasil lo ha logrado.
La Agencia del Año se otorga a la agencia que obtenga el mayor puntaje en las entradas de Prensa, Exterior, Film, Craft Film, Radio, Cyber, Titanium e Integradas. Para ser elegible para este premio, la agencia debe tener entradas en dos de estas secciones (por ejemplo, Film y Prensa o Radio y Exterior).
La puntuación se calcula de la siguiente manera:
Titanium Grand Prix: 12 puntos; All Other Grand Prix: 10 puntos; Titanium Lion: 10 puntos; Gold Lion: 7 puntos; Silver Lion: 5 puntos; Bronze Lion: 3 puntos; Shortlist position: 1 punto.
