Yahoo retirará los botones de ‘sign-in’ para Facebook y Google y con esto ya no permitirá a los consumidores el acceso a varios servicios en línea, como Fantasy Sports y Flickr, con sus usuarios de Facebook o Google. Esta decisión la anunció su presidenta ejecutiva, Marissa Mayer en un reporte para CNNExpansión, quien trata de renovar el interés en los productos web de Yahoo y mejorar sus ingresos.
Anunció en un comunicado que este cambio será gradual pero no detalló cuando se aprobará. Por ahora “se exigirá que los usuarios se registren como usuarios de Yahoo para usar cualquier servicio del portal de internet. «Yahoo está continuamente trabajando en mejorar la experiencia del usuario y este nuevo proceso permite la mejor experiencia personalizada para todo el mundo».
Yahoo ha presentado nuevas versiones de su correo y de Yahoo Finanzas y además anunció un programa para reciclar las cuentas que no estuvieran activas durante más de 12 meses.
